Device for transferring individual blind rivets

A description is given of a mechanised device for transferring individual blind rivets to a blind-rivet setting appliance, the said device considerably simplifying and shortening the transfer operation. For this purpose, a feed device, which separates the blind rivets and aligns them in each case in the same direction with the mandrel projecting forwards, is connected to a feed duct. At the end of the feed duct there is a blocking device, which can be pivoted between a through position and a blocking position, essentially the entire cross-section of the feed duct being exposed in the through position and the said duct being closed apart from a centering hole in the blocking position. The blocking device is actuated by a control device which simultaneously controls the feeding of the blind rivets. The control device in turn is actuated by the insertion of the blind-rivet setting appliance into a taper sleeve and thus triggers the transfer operation.
