PURPOSE:To reduce the floor occupying area of the titled equipment by mounting an injection unit nearly horizontally on the upper part of a die clamping device. CONSTITUTION:Through the adjustable shaft 24 screwed in a fixed member 18 and the hydraulic cylinder 27 fixed to a die clamping cylinder 16, a mount 23 is set nearly horizontally on the upper part of a die clamping device 11 rotatively centering a pin 26 and an injection unit 19 is mounted on said mount 23. Since the injection unit 19 is mounted nearly horizontally on the upper part of the die clamping device 11, the injection molding machine can be compacted to reduce the floor occupying area. Injection molding is performed by driving the die clamping cylinder 16 to clamp the dies 12, 14 and by operating the hydraulic cylinder 27 to rotate the injection unit 19 centering the pin 26 and to connect the nozzle 22 with a die cavity. |
