PURPOSE:To reduce interval dimensions of intermagnetic-heads, to increase the number of magnetic disks and to miniaturize a magnetic disk device by installing a pair of magnetic disk assembly to an arm without holding both outer sides of the arm. CONSTITUTION:A supporting member 22 of a pair of vertical magnetic assembly 21 is fixed to a vertical face of a common spacer 24-1, and a common attachment 25-1 is formed in one body. The attachment 25-2 is fixed to a step 26a of the top of an arm 26 with a small screw 29. Interval dimensional h1 of a magnetic head 23 is decided by a plate thickness (t) of the common spacer 24-1, and can be reduced irrespective of the plate thickness of the arm 26. |
