PURPOSE:To report an accurate excavation progressing condition to an operator, by a method wherein the desired value of an excavation depth and the actual value of an excavation depth are both digitally displayed, and a deviation between the actual value and the desired value is displayed by means of parallel lamps being selectively lighted. CONSTITUTION:An inclining angle theta1 to a ground of a running vehicle body is detected by a first sensor S1 attached to a bracket 4 of a back-hoe device 8. Further, attitude angles theta2, theta3 and theta4 of a boom 5, an arm 6, and a bucket 7 are detected by second, third, and fourth sensors S2, S3, and S4. Detecting values theta1, theta2, theta3 and theta4 are inputted to a microcomputer (c) to compute an excavation depth (h). An excavation desired depth H set intentionally is compared with the excavation depth (h) by a comparing device 10, and a deviation therebetween is displayed in a display device 11 by parallel lamps 17 togetherwith the desired value and an actual measurement. This permits the desired value to be confirmed again and enables ascertaining of an excavation progressing condition. |
