<p>PURPOSE:To recover separately Sb and Bi from liq. residue contg. Sb and Bi after the distillation of hydrochloric acid in an advantageous and safe manner by hydrolyzing the liq. residue at a low pH. filtering it, and subjecting the resulting residue to neutralization and filtration and the filtrate to neutralization, hydrolysis and filtration. CONSTITUTION:Liq. residue contg. highly concd. Sb and Bi after the distillation of hydrochloric acid is diluted at <1pH and heated 1 or diluted 1' at <=40 deg.C and filtered 2. Said hydrochloric acid is produced in a stage for purifying a copper electrolytic soln. with a chelate resin. The resulting residue 3 is subjected to repulping neutralization 4, filtration and washing 5, and drying 6 to recover Sb as Sb2O3 7 or SbOCl 7'. The filtrate obtd. by the filtration 2 is adjusted to >=2pH and subjected to neutralization and heating 8 or neutralization 8' at <=40 deg.C, filtration and washing 9, and drying 10 to recover Bi as crude Bi2O3 11 or BiOCl 11'. The filtrate 12 obtd. by the filtration 9 is discharged into a waste water disposal plant.</p> |
