摘要 PURPOSE:To form H-section forging material excellent in resistance to stress cracking by extruding an Al alloy, consisting of specific composition and regulated in Fe content, into a round bar and providing rough forging and finish forging to the bar by stretching it in the extruding direction. CONSTITUTION:In an Al alloy containing in wt%, 4.5-8.5% Zn, 1.5-3.5% Mg, 0.8-2.6% Cu, and further >=1 kinds among 0.05-1% Mn, 0.05-0.35% Cr, 0.03- 0.3% Zr, 0.03-0.25% V, 0.005-0.1% Ti, and the balance Al with inevitable impurities; Fe content in the Al alloy is regulated to <=0.15%. This Al alloy material is formed by extrusion into a round bar for forging, and is stretched by forging in the extruding direction; then the bar is formed into a forging material having an H-section by rough and finish forgings while regulating the forgings to obtain a <=1.0 true strain at the H-section part of forged material.
