PURPOSE:To enable an accurate running of an ink ribbon at a low cost in a heat transfer type recorder by providing the thermal head with a conductive pattern parallel to the running direction of the ink ribbon and further, a ribbon control pattern. CONSTITUTION:A conductive pattern 18 of the thermal head 16 is made parallel to the running direction of an ink ribbon 4 and a ribbon control pattern 20 is provided as produced in the same process as that of the conductive pattern 18. The ribbon control pattern 20 is produced in the same process as that of the conductive pattern 18 and as thick as it. In such an arrangement, as the conductive pattern 18 is arranged parallel to the direction of sliding the ink ribbon 4 within the shaded range 21, the ink ribbon 4 can be slid accurately while when the ink ribbon 4 is deviated from the normal position, it receives a force in the direction of the arrow G from roughly below the ribbon control pattern 20 and is automatically returned to the specified position. |
