摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the cornering characteristic and turning performance by allowing an upper arm and the chassis installation part of a suspension spring to be shifted, interlocked with sterring, in the suspension apparatus for a car having a pair of wheels at right and left. CONSTITUTION:When a steering wheel 20 is turned in the direction of arrow (a), a slider 13 is moved rightward in the direction of arrow (b) through the turn of a pinion 18, and a lever member 22 turns around a shaft 24. Then, a left-side upper arm 6 pushes-out a ball joint 71 set between a knuckle 31 to the outside of a chassis, and a right-side upper arm 62 is pulled into the chassis, and wheels 11 and 12 are tilted in the turning direction, and the knuckle 3 turns around king-pin shafts K1 and K2, and the front wheel 1 is tilted in the turning direction for the chassis 2, and the tilt is increased by the extension and contraction actions of the suspension springs 141 and 142 and then turns. Therefore, cornering characteristic and turning performance can be improved.</p>
