PURPOSE:To display the process of a decrease in concn. of N2 together with the transition of the number and time of respiration and ventilation rate and to display the time elapsed and integrated ventilation rate until the concn. of N2 attains a certain valve as numerical values by which said values are made effective in evaculating an ununiform distribution of ventilated air. CONSTITUTION:A person to be tested breathes air through a valve 1 and a three-way valve 2 and breathes oxygen by changing over the valve 1. A flowmeter 10 measures the breathing rate of the person to be tested, detects the expiring and inspiring air simultaneously, and commands the timing for ending the end of the expiration to a microcomputer 20. The computer 20 takes in the output from an N2 meter 30 measuring the concn. of N2 of the person to be tested via an analog-to-digital converter 40 upon receiving of the timing from the flowmeter 10. The concn. of N2 taken into the computer is subjected to logarithmic conversion, coordinate calculation of CRT controller 50 and conversion to the form of an image signal. Said signal is displayed on a CRT60 and the curve A of N2 is displayed. The display effective for evaluating the ununiform distribution of the ventilation is thus made possible. |
