Dangerous acid wastes from petroleum industry in acid tar and oil filter clay - are utilised by neutralisation with an alkaline solid (I) or liq. reagent, producing a powdery raw material, comprising of 5-65% carbohydrates and 35-95% oxides, which can be ground, mixed and homogenised and used as a cheap energy saving material in burning of cement clinker. - (I) may be either the cement flue dust from the factory, pyrite cinder or red mud.
