PURPOSE:To easily perform speed change operation, by enabling a target position of engagement to be changed in accordance with the control of an accelerator pedal when a vehicle is started. CONSTITUTION:An engine control circuit 12, inputting an output from an accelerator pedal-depressing distance detector 10 and a shift position detector 60, gradually drives a clutch from its half-engaged position to complete-engaged position in accordance with a control instruction of the clutch, and if a vehicle is decided to be started, a duty solenoid valve 46 provided in an engagement driving hydraulic circuit 36 is controlled so that the clutch may be stopped in a target position of engagement changed to be set corresponding to the depressing distance of an acceleration pedal. In this way, speed change operation is easily performed by enabling the target position of engagement to be controlled in accordance with control of the accelerator pedal when the vehicle is started. |
