PURPOSE:To mold the resin core for a model excellent in durability by covering the outer surface of the resin core obtained by mixing polyurethane resin, curing agent and hollow glass balls, etc. by a specified ratio, with polyurethane resin. CONSTITUTION:50-200 part polyurethane resin, 40-160 part curing agent and 150-600 part hollow glass balls (specific gravity 0.2-1.6, dimension 10-1,000mum) are mixed and cured and then molded into a resin core 1. Next, this molded article of the resin core 1, as an inner kernel, is coated with the polyurethane resin 2 excellent in abrasion resistance and heat resistance by a specified thickness and simultaneously is molded integrally into one body with a platen 3. (7 are the fixing leys connecting the platen 3 to the coating film of the polyurethane resin 2). Thus, the resin core for a model which is excellent in abrasion resistance and mold release property and has light weight and less dimension change by heat expansion, may be obtained. |
