PURPOSE:To grasp the configuration state of a part to be controlled with simple constitution by transferring data between a control part and the part to be controlled through an address/data bus. CONSTITUTION:An address/data bus 18 extended to the outside of a control part 11 is connected to parts to be controlled, namely, branches 191, 192,...19N arranged in individual positions of a copying machine to transfer data. Each branch 19 has a decoder 21 which decodes data, and various output devices or loads 23 and various detecting sensors 24 are connected to the branch 19. A CPU11 transmits addresses of branches 191-19N successively through the address/data bus 18 and controls the copying operation or the like for branches 19 which answer. Thus, the branch which has not an coincident address is not operated even if it is connected to the copying machine. That is, if erroneous branches 19 or outstandard options are connected, they are not operated to secure the reliability of the copying machine. |
