PURPOSE:To safely and efficiently perform work, by fixing the skin of a waste dry battery by grasping the same by a pair of opposed teeth and punching the content by a rod in the grasped state to perfectly peel off the skin. CONSTITUTION:When fixed teeth 39 advances to a position opposed to movable teeth 52 in up-and-down relation, the movable teeth 52 are lowered by the lowering operation of a clamp cylinder 57 to grasp the skin of the waste dry battery on the fixed teeth 39 to clamp the waste dry battery. A punching cylinder 45 allows a punching rod 41 to advance to punch the content of the waste dry battery so as to leave only the skin thereof. The punched content of the waste dry battery is collectively recovered in a content container 62 through a chute 61.
