The harness consists of an integral suit (1) having trousers (2) and an upper part (3) like a rucksack. Shoulder straps or cables (18) lead from the shoulder flaps (16) through a central suspension (68) to the thigh region of the trousers (2). Furthermore, there is a belt which is integrated in the suit and likewise leads from the suspension point (68) into the region between the trousers (2) and the upper part (3). The harness has the advantage of being favourable aerodynamically and of also being suitable for trainee hang-glider pilots. <IMAGE>
