The invention relates to an improved device for extruding synthetic resins which permits optionally a single synthetic-resin raw material to be extruded by itself or any additives to be added to the raw material, these to be thoroughly mixed with the raw material by kneading and the synthetic resin compound thus produced then to be extruded in a continuous operation. According to a special feature, a kneading section of the device is provided with an opening which can serve for the venting or devolatilisation of the raw material and/or for the introduction of an additive material into the device.
