PURPOSE:To produce grooved tubes efficiently with reduced fluctuation from a long tube by providing roll cutters having different outer diameter on single shaft. CONSTITUTION:A long tube 9 is secured through a chuck 11 at predetermined position. Roll cutters 7, 8 of large and small diameter are secured to the rotary shaft 6 where a plurality of small diameter roll cutters 8 may be fixed. When rotating the rotary shaft 6 having roll cutters around the long tube 9, tubes 1 provided with grooves 1a through small diameter roll cutter 8 are cut off by the large diameter roll 7. When setting the distance between the roll cutters 7 and 8 to desired level, fluctuation of products is eliminated.
