PURPOSE:To continuously obtain fuel and woody pellets in high efficiency by subjecting bark-bearing slender logs and twigs to, e.g. press-cutting by passing them between two rolls equipped with cutting blades parallel to the shaft direction. CONSTITUTION:Bark-bearing slender logs and twigs, etc. are conveyed in the form of a board by ripsaw blade 9, being arranged in a flat form by guide plate 11, and passing through two rolls 4 equipped with non-skid fine cutting blades parallel to the shafts, being subjected to splitting by two rolls 1. Next, the resultant material is cut under pressure in the direction of wood axis through two rolls 2 with deep cutting blades parallel to the shaft whose edges have a discrepancy ca. 1mm. circumferentially and an intermesh ca. 2mm.. By continuously performing part on the whole of the above processes, the objective woody pellets can be obtained with most of them being approximately cubic preserving their inherent natural woody properties. EFFECT:Having such ventilative and rolling ability as to be suitable for drying, autofeed, combustion, etc.
