PURPOSE:To impart stable ink receptivity by forming, on a support together with other layers, a physical development layer obtained by dispersing a metal or metal sulfide into an aq. soln. of PVA saponified to >=96%, and spreading the obtained colloidal soln. CONSTITUTION:A layer contg. such an amt. of developing agent as capable of developing exposed silver halide in an activated alkaline bath is formed on a support by using the bead coating method and drying it. This layer is coated with a colloidal soln. prepared by dispersing a metal or metal sulfide into an aq. soln. of PVA saponified to >=96% with an air knife or the like to form a physical development nuclei layer. A silver salt lithographic plate material for silver salt diffusion transfer can be thus obtained. A support usable for said support is baryta paper, PE-coated paper, PP synthetic paper, or the like subjected to corona discharge treatment, subbing treatment, etc. |
