PURPOSE:To enable to prevent the occurrence of a serious accident by a method wherein an abnormality detecting device, with which an indication of a torque when the device is in operation and the interval of generating time of torque with those of the normal changing time, is provided. CONSTITUTION:When a switching signal is outputted from a switching signal generating part 1, a switching detection part 4 detects a switching start signal, and said detected signal is sent to an abnormality decision part 6. On the other hand, the motor of an electrically operating mechanism 2 starts operation by the switching signal output sent from the switching signal generating part 1, the on- load tap changer 3 which is mechanically coupled to the electrically operating mechanism 2 starts operation, and torque is applied to a driving shaft. A torque detecting part 5 detects the torque applied to the driving shaft of the on-load tap changer 3, and its detection signal is sent to the abnormality decision part 6. The abnormality decision part 6 compares the torque characteristic pattern torque characteristic pattern generating when a normal switching is performed which is memorized in a memory circuit part 7, and the indication of trouble and the trouble are judged. |
