PURPOSE:To obtain a winding for a small-sized transformer by reducing the size of a strand conductor of a disc coil in the axial direction of the coil in a block disposed at the axial center of the winding of the transformer divided into a plurality of blocks smaller than that of the other block. CONSTITUTION:A winding for a transformer is divided into five blocks I , II, III, IV and V from a line terminal U side to the other terminal of a neutral terminal or a neutral voltage line, these blocks have a plurality of disc coils C1, C2, C3, C4 and C5, laminated axially of the coil, and wound sequentially of the disc coils. When the numbers of turns per coil of the coils C1-C5 are represented by N1, N2, N3, N4 and N5, they are set to become N3>N2(=N4)>N1(=N5) in such a manner that the axial height H2 of a strand conductor 10B of the coil C3 of the block III at the axial center of the winding of the coil is larger than the axial height H1 of the other four blocks. |
