PURPOSE:To select a signal from any of plural display systems without much cost by adding the signal selected by changeover of a display switching section to the most significant digit of message data of plural bits. CONSTITUTION:After a selective call signal with message code is compared and collated with a selective call number of the own set, a 4-bit message signal is separated and outputted from a decoder 1. The decoder 1 discriminates the input from a terminal (c) of the display switching section 6 as 1, 0 of the value of a display switching bit 10 corresponding to the high/low level of the input in matching with the data 11. When the value is logical 1, a display segment data 12 shown in conversion table A is outputted and a character of display content 13 is displayed on a display element 3. When logical 0, the character of Conversion table B is displayed. |
