PURPOSE:To slide a pointer rack on a variable capacitor gear and to obtain the small-sized device which allows stable dial operation by varying the capacity of the variable capacitor of the dial device reversely, engaging the gear part of a knob with the variable capacitor gear directly, and associating it with the pointer rack. CONSTITUTION:The variable capacitor 8 which is reversed in capacity variation direction is fitted to the printed wiring board 7 of the dial device, and the variable capacitor gear 1 is arranged on the axis of the variable capacitor 8. Further, the pointer rack 3 is fitted to a dial chassis 6 as one block together with the knob 2 so that the rack engages the gear 2a of the knob 2, and the rack is fitted and fixed to the board 7. This rack 3 is guided to the periphery of the variable capacitor gear 1 with a guide rib 4 provided to a cabinet opposite to the upper part of the variable capacitor gear 1. Then, the sliding direction of the rack 3 is set opposite to the rotating direction of the variable capacitor gear 1 all the time, the structure of the device is simplified, and dial operation is stabilized and facilitated. |
