PURPOSE:To test the capacity type measuring machine accurately at low cost while preventing an error in measurement due to oscillation by calculating the mean value of the weight of the measuring machine, a hopper, and granules in it in a time longer then the oscillation period of an oscillation body and at sufficiently short time intervals. CONSTITUTION:While the rotation of a table feeder 1 is stopped, the weight of the hopper 2 of a load cell 3, granules in it, and the feeder 1 and its mean value w1 are calculated (n) times in the time T longer then the oscillation period t1 of the oscillation body and at the sampling period t2 <=1/10 oscillation period t1 to obtain a real value at the time of no oscillation. Then, the feeder 1 is rotated for confirmation and then stopped to calculate a mean value w2 by repeating the same process. Thus, an error in the measurement of the weight due to the oscillation of the oscillation body is prevented, and the capacity type measuring machine for granules is tested by the inexpensive, simple method.
