PURPOSE:To maintain the blowing efficiency of a blower even if the quantity of used air changes, by providing the blower with an air guide fitted with guide vanes, and by elastically supporting the guide vanes to extend in the direction of rotation of a suction fan and make the gap between the suction fan and each guide vane variable. CONSTITUTION:A suction port 12 is provided in front of the center of a suction fan 11. An air guide 16 fitted with plural guide vanes 20 is provided around under the suction fan 11. A spring 23 is tightly attached in a frame 26 at the tip of each guide vane 20 so that the frame is pushed toward the fan 11 by the elasticity of the spring. For that reason, when the quantity of sucked air is small and the collision of the air against the frame 26 under the action of the fan 11 is weak, the frame is located closer to the fan 11 so that a gap A is decreased. As a result, a circulative flow is not caused, so that the efficiency of blowing is kept high.
