PURPOSE:To prevent color from becoming turbid and to improve deterioration of developability due to lamination by providing an intermediate layer contg. an org. Ag salt together with a binder between two photosensitive layers. CONSTITUTION:The thermally developable color photographic sensitive material contains on a substrate a photosensitive silver halide, an org. Ag salt, and a pigment donating substance capable of liberating or forming a diffusive pigment by the thermal development, and a binder and comprises at least two photosensitive layers having different color sensitivity of photosensitive silver halide and different hue to each other. And an intermediate layer contg. a binder, and an org. Ag salt is provided between the two photosensitive layers. Useful org. Ag salt is Ag salt of aliphatic carboxylic acid such as silver laurate, etc., Ag salt of an aromatic carboxylic acid such as silver benzoate, etc. Isolated org. Ag salt may be used by dispersing in a binder by an appropriate method. Also, the Ag salt may be prepd. in an appropriate binder and used as it is without isolation. |
