PURPOSE:To improve filtration efficiency and to facilitate operation for removing clogging of a filter medium as well by filtering the water which has been filtered through pebbles further through a filter medium, and installing said filter medium to the inside of a purifying part freely insertable and extractable. CONSTITUTION:A casing 7 of a filtration apparatus 3 is constituted of a flat box shaped sucking part 8 having opened bottom and a rectangular cylindrical purifying part 9 extended vertically and sealed with a pair of lid 10, 11 at the upper part being united to form one body with the sucking part 8. A pair of filter media 5, 6 corrugated in a horizontal face is supported each by a frame body 27, 28 and is installed to the inside of a filtration chamber of the purifying part 9. Further, the inside of the filtration chamber is separated to a purified chamber 30 inside of the filter medium 5, 6 and an unpurified chamber 31 outside of the filter media 5, 6. A water sucking means 4 is provided facing the inside of the purified chamber 30 and is supported by the lid 10. |
