In order to achieve higher speeds on bends and more direction-stable travel on straight sections, the runners of the bobsleigh are individually suspended and the rear runners are positively steered along analogously with the front runners via linkages. By virtue of generally more gentle travel even in the straight sections of the route, better travel times and also an increase in the safety moment are to be made possible.
