发明名称 MONITORING METHOD FOR VERTICAL DIRECTION POSITION OF UPPER GUIDE
摘要 PURPOSE:To position an upper guide in a highly accurate manner and monitor the position, by presetting a distance from a table top surface at a time when the upper guide of a wire electro-discharge machine is reset to a Z-axial zero position, while renewling the distance according to movements of the upper guide and displaying it on a display unit. CONSTITUTION:A distance from the top of a table 4 to an upper guide 12 at a time when the upper guide 12 is reset to a X-axis zero position is stored in an unvolatile memory in advance. When resetting to the Z-axis zero position is commanded, a processor inputs Z-axis rapid feed data into a pulse distributor. In consequence, a Z-axis motor 19 rotates, the upper guide 12 goes up toward the Z-axis zero position and reset to the zero position. With a zero position reset finish signal, the processor houses the distance stored in the unvolatile memory in a random access memory as the present position. Likewise, the processor makes a present position display unit display the position. Under this condition, when a Z-axis jog button in pushed, the upper guide 12 gets going down in a direction toward a work 5. The processor renews the present position at every DELTAT second and displays the distance as a vertical direction position.
