What is proposed is a holding device for profiles, especially lock profiles, which consists of a support plate 1, to the underside of which is attached a clamping device, by means of which a profile 10 can be fixed from below approximately perpendicularly to the support plate 1. This can ensure that, when interconnected profiles are pulled or rammed, only one profile is moved and the others are retained in their position. <IMAGE>
