<p>PURPOSE:To avoid a useless erasing action even in case an erasion key is pushed mistakenly by erasing the undesired stored contents of an erasion memory after detecting the paper extraction by a detector. CONSTITUTION:When paper P1 is taken out of a platen to be replaced with paper P2, this extraction of the P1 is detected by a detector 40 using an optical sensor or a microswitch. Then the detection signal is sent to a control circuit 31 from the detector 40. The circuit 31 sends a clear signal to an erasion memory 33 to erase the sentences on the p1 stored in the memory 33. Thus a useless erasing action is never carried out despite a mispush of an erasion key on a keyboard 2 when the next P2 is set to the platen. This prevents the injuries caused on the platen by said useless erasing action.</p> |
