PURPOSE:To read the time even in darkness and to save the electric power by fixing light emitting elements to hands and at time display positions of 12 gradations on a dial, and turning off some or all of the light emitting elements selectively with an operation button. CONSTITUTION:When the time need to be known in the dark where there is no lighting, the operation button 7 is pressed down gently to allow the 1st movable piece 10 and the 2nd movable piece 11 to contact each other. Consequently, LEDs 4 and 5 and four LEDs 6'... at positions of 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock turn on to know the time roughly, namely, that it is part 10 o'clock or that it is about half past 8 o'clock. When the operation button 7 is pressed in strongly, the 1st and the 2nd movable contacts 10 and 11 and a fixed piece 12 contact one another in one body to turn on all the LEDs 4, 5, 6,...6'..., thereby knowing the accurate time. |
