PURPOSE:To simplify a structure while reducing cost, by forming an oxygen ion conductive electrolyte sintered element in a flat plate shape and forming a porous platinum electrode only to a min. part necessary from the aspect of capacity. CONSTITUTION:An oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte sintered element 7 comprising stabilized zirconia is formed in a flat plate shape by sintering and porous platinum electrodes 8, 9 are formed to both surfaces thereof in a min. area necessary from the aspect of the capacity thereof. This element 7 is superposed to heat resistant insulating ceramics 10 having a notch groove and both of them are caulked and fixed by a metal frame body 13 so as to direct the surface of the porous electrode 8 to the outside. Further, lead-out wires 14, 15 are connected to the electrodes 8, 9, and caulked and fixed by the lead wire caulking part 16 provided to the metal frame body 13. In addition, overcoat is applied to the surface of the porous electrode 8 not covered by the metal frame body 13. |
