CONSTITUTION:An oxygen ion conductive solid electrolyte sintered element 7 comprising stabilized zirconia is formed in a flat plate shape by sintering and platinum porous electrodes 8, 9 are formed to both surfaces thereof in a min. area necessary from the aspect of capacity. Next, the whole is arranged in a frame body 10 comprising a heat resistant insulating ceramic sintered body and lead-out wires 12, 13 are connected to the electrodes 8, 9. In addition, the outside surface of the platinum porous electrode 8 not covered by the frame body 10 is coated with a heat resistant inorg. substance to form an overcoat layer 11 and the one end of the frame body 10 is sealed by inorg. fillers 14, 15. |
