PURPOSE:To easily carry the main body of the electrophotographic copying machine in one hand, and make the main body hard to turn over when it is placed on a floor, etc., at the attitude by making the center of gravity of the main body shift at one side, and providing a grip for conveyance to a side wall distant from the center of gravity. CONSTITUTION:The center G of gravity of the main body is shifted to the left side of the rotating shaft of a photosensitive drum 4, i.e. to the left side of the center of the main body. Then, the grip 54 for lifting up the main body 1 is fixed to the left-side surface of the main body, i.e. where a paper discharge tray 48 and a paper feed cassette 24 are mounted. Further, a prismatic cushion 55 is fixed to the flank opposite to the flank to which the grip 54 is fixed. Therefore, the main body 1 is carried easily in one hand and becomes hard to turn over when placed on the floor at the attitude, and the main body 1 is protected by the rubber cushion 55 when placed on the ground. |
