The standby generating set to be housed comprises an internal combustion engine with radiator and exhaust silencer, battery, fuel tank, generator coulded to the engine, and a control panel incorporating rectifiers, fuses, metres, etc. the cabinet has an inner frame and walls which limit a central chamber divided into two compartments by the horizontal intermediate wall. The upper compartment huoses the fuel tank and the control panel,whilst the lower houses the engine with radiator and battery, together with the generator. - On opposite sides tof the central chamber are channels for inlet and outlet for cooling air for both engine and generator. The upper compartment of the cabinet is wholly enclosed, whilst the lower is open laterally towards The exhaust silencer is suitable positioned in the outlet channel for cooling air. The compartments of the central chamber are provided with doors, and the walls of the cabinet and channels are sound-insulated. |
