PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous operation, by sucking air from a leakage detecting groove, which is provided in a gap between a waste liquid treating tank and a concrete wall, thereby preventing dew condensation, detecting only the true leakage, and avoiding the issue of pseudo-leakage alarm caused by the dew condensation. CONSTITUTION:A waste-liquid treating tank 1 is provided on the upper part of a building, and the inside is lined by a lining plate 14. A leakage detecting groove 6 is provided in a gap between the tank 1 and a wall 2a. When liquid leaks from the tank 1, the liquid flows through the leakage detecting groove 6 and a pipe 7 and collected in a leakage detecting device 8. Thus the leakage is detected. A lid 9 is provided on the upper part of the tank 1. Air in the tank 1 is sucked by an air vent pipe 10, and the air is exhausted. A vent pipe 13 is connected to the air vent pipe 10 from the leakage detecting groove 6. Air in the leakage detecting groove 6 is sucked in this way. Thus, the yield of dew condensation in the leakage detecting groove 6 is prevented. Therefore, liquid is not collected due to the dew condensation in the leakage radioactive waste is stored in the tank, confusion due to pseudo-alarm does not occur. |
