PURPOSE:To obtain a motor drive circuit which has a small size and a light weight by applying a high frequency pulse obtained by chopping a DC power with high frequency to a DC motor. CONSTITUTION:A DC power rectified from a commercial power source 1 is chopped by a high frequency by a chopper of a voltage converter 4, and supplied to a DC motor 6. A chopper controller 5 controls a duty on the basis of a feedback signal and a servo command signal Vc for detecting the motor current, rotating angle and speed. Thus, a low frequency stepdown transformer and a smoothing circuit are not necessarily used, and a motor drive circuit which has a small size and a light weight may be provided. |
