PURPOSE:To enable stable guidance tracking, by a method wherein a receiving wave is separated into two polarized waves and signals corresponding to respective polarized waves are further taken out to detect and compare the angle errors of a target while one with large intensity is set as a tracking signal. CONSTITUTION:When an antenna 1 receives the reflected wave and the emitted radio wave of a target and a background, received signals are sent to a polarizer 2. The separation and change-over operation of vertical and horizontal polarizer waves of this polarizer 2 is controlled by the pulse signal from a change-over control signal generator 3 and signals corresponding to two polarized waves are alternately sent to a receiver 4. The receiver 4 detects a target signal from received signals and outputs the same to a synchronous detector 5. The signals separated by the detector 5 are sent to a vertical polarized wave error detector 6 and a horizontal polarized wave error detector 7 and converted angle error signals of orthogonal two axes. These angle error signals allow the antenna to direct to the target through a comparision/judge device 8, a servo amplifier 9 and torque generator 10 so as to bring the angle errors to zero. Therefore, stable guidance tracking can be performed. |
