<p>PURPOSE:To accomplish high-speed printing through dynamic driving, by a method wherein when one of a plurality of memories is used for writing data, the other is used for reading data, in a non-impact printer. CONSTITUTION:A main controlling part 1 reads data from the exterior into a memory 3 or 4 through an address-controlling and data-processing part 2, and simultaneously, the part 1 reads data from a memory 4 or 3, forms a pulse width modulated output therefrom, and transfers the output to a driver 5, thereby printing. The writing is effected by a clock signal which is externally supplied, while the reading is effected by a clock signal provided in the part 2 in accordance with the response speed of a head 6. When the writing and the reading are completed, the memories 3, 4 are interchanged. Accordingly, it is possible to cope with high-speed operations even for a reading operation, a set of memories can be used for both reading and writing, and it is enabled to enhance the speed of partition driving.</p> |
