The pre-fabricated insulation structure is incorporated in the walls of a building. It comprises a framework consisting of metal wires which are welded together at their cross-over points. The wires carry low-density panels, e.g. polyurethane foam, with a cavity between front and rear panels. This structure serves as shuttering for in-situ pouring of concrete in the cavity. The framework may comprise vertical wires horizontally spaced in (six) planes parallel to the wall surface and interconnected by transverse horizontal wires. Horizontal wires are vertically spaced and welded to the outermost vertical wires, the panels being carried between the respective wires and the cavity being defined between the wires.FL. |
