PURPOSE:To realize reasonable grasping of the present positions of tools and making maintenance inspection and the like for tools by indicating the present positions of the tools in a similar diagram for positions of accommodating the tools from a memory storing relationship between the tools and their positions of accommodation. CONSTITUTION:A display unit 14 indicates data inputted from a data input unit 13 and present positions of tools, and besides indicates present positions of a magazine of machine tools and the tools accommodated in it. A memory 21, memorizing sequence program which controls a machine tool 30, results of operation, various kinds of data sent from NC10 and the machine 30, position of a magazine pot and the number of tools accommodated in it, is annexed to a programmable control 20. In case of changing the tool, a magazine 31a is first turned, then position indexing is made so as to bring a pot 31b, accommodating tools to be used newly right above a main shaft 31c, and a tool changing arm 31d is turned to grasp and draw out a new tool and a used up tool at one time, and the changing arm 31d is turned by 180 deg., new and old tools being accommodated respectively. |
