PURPOSE:To separate assuredly only the node that has a fault by deciding a fault informing frame given from a own controlling node in case a discrimination information detecting part detects no discrimination information and also the coincidence is obtained at a comparison part and then separating the abnormality node from a loop-shaped data transmission line. CONSTITUTION:A concentrated repeating device LN0 supplies a fault informing frame sent from a node N3 and received by a fault informing frame reception part 3 to a discrimination information detecting part 5 as well as a physical address comparison part 6. The part 5 detects that the address recognition display bit of the status byte of the abnormality informing frame is set at ''0''. While the part 6 compares the physical address of the data part of the fault informing frame with allocation physical addresses of nodes N0-N3 controlled by the device LN0 and detects the coincidence between them. A discrimination part 7 discriminates the generation of an abnormality of the node N3 from the result of comparison of the part 6 and separates the node N3 from a loop-shaped data transmission line 1. |
