<p>PURPOSE:To control the opening angle in accordance with operation details and to enhance operation efficiency by dividing an apparatus into 2 parts, pivotally and upward openably supporting the upper part, and rendering the pivot point of a support member movable. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive body, etc. are pivotally supported in the upper frame 2a of a main body 1 divided into upper and lower frames 2a, 2b by using a paper conveying route as a border face. The frame 2a is freely opened or closed around a supporting pivot 5. The frame 2a is opened and closed with a supporting member 17 engaged with the upper frame 2a and the lower frame 2b, and when the locking mechanism is released from the closing position, the member 17 is extended with the force of a spring inside a cylinder 17a to open the frame 2a at a comparatively small angle, but it is wide enough to remote jammed paper. When further the turning member 20 is turned clockwise on a pivot 21, an opening angle is enlarged, and the maintenance operation of the inside of the apparatus can be carried out. Therefore, the opening angle can be controlled by changing the pivot position of the support member 17 to adapt it to the operation details, and its operation efficiency can be enhanced.</p> |
