CONSTITUTION:The control part of the servo machine tool consists of an arithmetic control means 1, servo command means 2, and servo power means 3. When an origin return command s generated, it is inputted to the return command means 43 to move the main shaft head right toward a drive limit point OT regardless of its position, the main shaft head reaches the limit point unless the origin return start position is in an area d5 which is closer to a work than a deceleration area d3 and satisfies normal condition, and an overtrouble detecting means detects that. Then, a return command means 53 calls a return extent (l) set as a parameter in a return extent register 52 and drives the main shaft head toward the work by (l), so that the head exits from the head toward the work by (l), so that the head exists from the overtrouble. At this time, the head is at a normal start position and returns to the origin R with a re-return command.
