An electrical connection element, figure 3 and 6, for a toy construction set comprises a pair of electrically insulated parts 5, 7, 8, 9 in the form of a contact part, figure 6, and a press-fit part, figure 3. The press-fit part is designed, for example, using a guide 7, to press down on a flat conductor 13 with two wires in the contact part, characterised in that it has two opposite cutting edges 11, 12, each one interacting with a wire of the conductor. For each wire, the insulation of the conductor is cut in only one place, during which the other wire and its corresponding cutting edge serve as retainer via the elastic conductor. <IMAGE>
