PURPOSE:To equivalently improve the refractive index of the following resin material itself by a method wherein the powder of a substance having a larger refractive index than the resin material is mixed into this resin material swollen in semi-spherical form on the light lead-out plane as the light releasing part. CONSTITUTION:Using a material with the powder of a substance having a larger refractive index than the resin material at the light releasing part mixed into this resin material, the light releasing part 4b is formed by depositing the material by spherical swelling on the light lead-out plane 3 of an LED element 1 having the light emitting part 2. The equivalent refractive index of the light releasing part 4b becomes larger than in the case of only resin, and the light critical angle at the interface between the LED element 1 and the light releasing part 4b increases, thus enabling sufficient improvement of the efficiency of light lead- out. |
