A housing for a wall-mounted bath mixer unit is described, in which for reasons of convention the openings for supplying hot and cold water open out into the connection surface for the control cartridge nearer to the user than does the opening for discharging mixed water. In order to keep the overall housing low and to manage with a single core when it is being cast, the discharge chamber in the housing in the region of the supply openings extends in the form of a narrow channel between the supply chambers forwards towards the outlet opening on the bath tub. In this arrangement, the supply chambers and the discharge chamber are located in essentially one plane.
