Appts. comprises a substance which contains a wick. part of the wick is enclosed in a casing. This is made of a relatively incombustible material which has poor heat conductivity. Pref. there is a channel between the wick and casing which contains a non-combustible liquid. The casing can be made of mono or biascially oriented tube of eg crosslinked polyolefin or PTFE. |
