PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of disorder of a magnetic field distribution and interference with an electron gun owing to the terminal expansion of an inner- magnet type neck magnet by cutting said neck magnet at a point with a plane inclining to the direction of the radius or axis of the neck magnet ring or both of them and then bringing both of the faces at the cutting point into close contact each other. CONSTITUTION:An inner-magnet type neck magnet 3 is made of ring type permanent magnetic material and used for correction of color purity and static convergence. This neck magnet 3 is cut at a point with a plane slantly intersecting the direction of the radius or axis of the neck magnet ring or both of them and then both of the faces at the cutting point 1a are brought into close contact each other. Thereby, when the inner-magnet type neck magnet having larger thermal expansion coefficient than that of the containing part expands, mutually pushing forces generated between both sides of the cutting plane can be resolved into a perpendicular force and a parallel force to the cutting plane. This parallel force causes the ring type magnet to generate a little deviation, by which a great force of the ring to expand outside is absorbed. Therefore, an electron gun member is not deformed. |
